Grading System

Very Fine (VF)

Books graded 'Very Fine' are as close to flawless as possible. This means that they are either unread or appears to be unread with no other flaws. 'Very Fine' is basically a variantion of the grading 'New' or 'Like New'.

Fine (F)

Books graded 'Fine' are either unread or appears to be unread, but might come with a few minor flaws, such as mild yellowing to text block, boards or dustcover, or other minor flaws. A 'Fine' book might for example include a 'Very Fine' book with a 'Fine' or 'Near Fine' dustcover.

Near Fine (NF)

Books graded 'Near Fine' are either unread or appears to be unread, but come with a small number of flaws which we think prevent them from being graded 'Fine'.

Very Good (VG)

Books graded 'Very Good' will typically appear to have been read, but only gently so. 'Very Good' books typically come with flaws to both book and dustcover.

Books with lower grade than 'Very Good' are not listed on the website.
